New items in my booth for the sale this weekend at Merchant Square

I added a lot of things to my booth yesterday in order to get ready for the 3-day sale this weekend.  Here are some of my favorites.  You can see an album of 26 pictures I took on my Judy B's Shabby Chic Facebook page.

This turquoise silk dress is just beautiful.  Never worn and still has the original tags by Maggy London.  A nice retro style chemise.  To the right of it are two more lovely formals.  Time for prom yet?

Four great vintage lamp shades.  They are shabby and the fabric is fragile.  But these would be great to strip and them create your own shades with old lace pieces, burlap, whatever! 

This beautiful light pink sweater is so soft!  It's lambswool and angora decorated with pearls and sequins.  Never worn and has original tags from Bonwit Teller.

Lovely old plates decorated with roses and very inexpensive!  Love the tiny chintz teapot!  The ruby glass sugar and creamer set are perfect for Valentine's Day or Christmas!

Love the items on top of the white china cabinet.  Really nice swing frame from the 1920's -- deco style!

For my artsy friends, a huge bowl full of vintage buttons, flower picks, rustic clothespins and corks.  Check out the pile of old keys for necklaces or mixed media projects.

Great sale at Merchant Square this weekend!!  Plus a huge flea market in the parking lot.  All spaces are sold out.  See you there!!!

Doing some decorating today!

It's cool and rainy outside and the sun has disappeared.  Not complaining!!!  We love the rain in the desert and this rain is much needed!!

Fall is here and I am now decorating around the house for fall and Thanksgiving.  Just for me!  No one else will enjoy it but you folks who will be reading my blog.

This wheat bundle was on sale at half price!  So I scooped it up, put a burlap ribbon around it, popped it into a glass container and surrounded it with an acorn swag.

Also found this lemon cypress tree at the store this morning.  I had seen several of these trees featured in the December issue of Better Homes and Gardens magazine.  Smells great!  I have had this garden urn for sale in my booth for nearly a year and no one has bought it yet.  Too bad!  It's a great decorator piece and so pretty.

I put some rocks in the bottom of it, wrapped the pot in a piece of burlap ribbon, put the cypress on top of the rocks for drainage, then surrounded the pot with wine corks!  Great display!  This is where my "Think Outside the Box" mantra comes into play!  I have picked up bags of corks at yard sales and they are great for decorating!

You can see the puddles of rain water on my patio!  It rained a lot last night.  So lovin' this great weather!
