Memorial Day -- A Day of Remembrance

Please take a few moments today to remember all who have served our great country -- either in time of war or time of peace. Each military person who is buried here in Arlington National Cemetery, as well as other cemeteries nationwide, have served their country. Some through long service and others who gave their lives in defense of the United States of America.

I am proud to say that my husband gave 20+ years of his life in service to the United States Air Force. He was extremely proud of all military persons and frequently said so to them individually after he retired. I do too! I have personally thanked uniformed personnel whom I have seen in the airports for their service to our country.

The above pictures are from my husband's burial ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery. The last picture is of the Columbarium where he is inurned.
