Yesterday's bounty

A dear friend went to Paris this month on a river boat cruise. I asked her to bring back ephemera from her trip. When I got my mail yesterday, a big mailing envelope was stuffed with all of this! Thank you, Hedy! I have not sorted through all of it, but there are lots of ticket stubs, info brochures, restaurant paper goods, etc. there, all from Paris! Time to work on my next book about Paris!
Garage sale yesterday produced a few items. I love the old pearl collars and that pretty pillow. The gloves are orphan gloves that I am going to wash. Do you think they would be a cute addition to an altered book?? There are two pretty plates, a hat pin holder that is quite old, and a pink glass basket dish. In the center of the one collar is a tiny sewing kit. The end is a timble and it unscrewed for use and there is a tiny spool of thread under it. There is a pair of scissors too. Real unusual. All these items will be for sale at Merchants Square next week.
