Happy Second Anniversary, Sweet Salvage!

Sharing my favorite displays with all of you from the last two years of Sweet Salvage events.  Here goes:
Beautiful shabbiness and plenty of ruffles here.
Love the chandelier and all the goodies in there with it.
This display and the one in the picture above it are by far my very special favorites!  Love the shutters, large bouquet, chairs, dresser, everything!!
Roses, shabby chic and vintage.
Ruffles and roses.
Give me a cloche with a good display any day.
Seashore collections and shabby white dresser.
Love this chandy in the box!  Another favorite.
Halloween loveliness!
Love the gray and white and draped curtains.
Pink cotton Christmas tree!
Love old cages with plenty to view inside!
Too sweet and full of vintage toys and goodies.
Another great cloche display with plenty inside to make you stop and look a while!
COLOR!!!
Always love a great wall display of frames.
Cameras, fans, and plenty of great guy stuff, too!
Love this basket full of pretty pink roses!

These are just a few of the many pictures I took.  I had loads of favorites but just couldn't put all of them here!  Come back and visit later in the week to see what I picked this week at Sweet Salvage's second anniversary event!  See you there!

Boho Nouveau at Sweet Salvage in April!

Here are a few of my favorite pics taken when my BFF Gail and I went to Sweet Salvage last Thursday, April 18.  So many wonderful displays of great finds.  Gail and I also visited Melrose Vintage to check out their flea market.  Ready?  Here we go:
Right inside the door was this gorgeous and colorful chandelier!
Simple and very pretty!  Love the rose print.
This was such a colorful display that I couldn't resist taking a picture.  That throw is actually a more vibrant pink than in this picture!
Simple display.  I really would like to know where these pedestals can be found.  I would love one or two!
This cheery display was tucked into a corner at Sweet Salvage.  And I think it is so charming and very colorful!
Roses, vintage doilies, old purses, old silver, oh dear!  I love it all!
Love the idea of wrapping a dress form in an old tablecloth, and then dolling it up!
I wish I could have seen this lamp lit up!  I'll bet it makes a room glow with color!
Gail and I loved these chairs and the black cabinet.  Colorful and funky!!

Gail and I also managed to walk through the flea market behind Melrose Vintage on Thursday morning.  I found a few treasures in there!

These beautiful roses were in the rose beds in front of Melrose Vintage.  I think they are just beautiful!  Wish I had the green thumb to raise roses.  Tried to do that once, years ago.  Had no luck.  The bugs and disease beat me!

 Lots of vintage!
Loved the flowers in the giant urn!
Cupcakes made out of sea urchin shells!  Cute ballerinas!
Love all the items on this bench.
 Beautiful light pink wrap.

Trip to Lakeside, AZ last week.

I drove up into The Rim Country of Arizona last week to spend the week with my good friend, Karen, while her hubby was out of town.  Lakeside has many cute shops and I was particularly taken with The White Chair which is located at 1449 White Mountain Blvd. in Lakeside, AZ.  The shop owner, Moli, had just moved into this new building and was working on getting it organized.  But I thought she had done a great job already!
This mirror is just beautiful!  I also love the round framed flowers and the wire/tin vases.
A birdcage chandelier!  Too cute!  Can either be hung or used on a table top.
This bedside table was so pretty!  Love that nest!
A lovely applique quilt piece highlighted with this pretty chandelier.
I really liked this chandelier!  So pretty!  Note the fabric pieces on the ceiling.  It's a work in progress to cover up the tiles.
I loved this blue cabinet and that gorgeous painting on the top.  Check out the vintage dress with old crocheted collars!
I thought this was a good way to use a cruet holder.

The owner, Moli, has just started a Facebook page.  Be sure to visit her page here.  And if you live here in Arizona and plan a trip to Pinetop/Lakeside, be sure to visit her shop!  You won't be disappointed!  And, visit my Facebook page here to see a photo album of more in her shop.
