Back from Virginia trip

I did something I haven't done in ages! I made cupcakes for Ryan's birthday party with his friends and school pals on Saturday morning. Actually, this was fun!Laura made Ryan's cake and decorated it herself. Ryan loves the movie "Cars" and especially Lightning McQueen. We watched the movie while I was there. It is really a good movie for kids -- and big adult kids! This cake was for the family birthday party on Saturday afternoon. Here are Kara and Ryan just before the candle lighting on the cake.

Here is little Ryan blowing out his big 3 candle. Too cute!

I had a great time while there. The weather was pretty good -- just a little rain on Friday and then thunderstorms in the afternoon. Great week! Loads of fun playing with my grandchildren.
