Sweet Salvage's French Market

This weekend is Sweet Salvage on 7th's French Market.  Of course, Gail, Joy and I had a girls' day out on Thursday to shop at Sweet Salvage as well as some of the other wonderful stores and shops on 7th Ave. in Phoenix!

This is one of the first displays you saw as you entered Sweet Salvage.  Love the wood vanity, curvy chair and hanging lights!  Real French feel!

On the vanity was this display of apothecary jars on an oval mirror along with a gold pendulum from an old clock!  Good idea!!

Another taste of French with the pillow, curvy chair and golden candelabra!

Loved this old Brach's Candies box filled with smooth stones and topped with old bottles of different size, shape and color.  The lavender plants had burlap covers and were just the right topping!

Love the displays in this white cupboard!  The birds were gorgeous!

In a corner at the back was this huge bird cage!!  Love the ivy falling out of this old, off white vase!

Here's Katy helping out Jen Cushman with her purchases.  Found out from Jen that the February 2012 issue of Somerset Life will feature Sweet Salvage on 7th!!  Pictures were taken the day before the opening last Thursday!  I'm so glad!!  Now others outside of our area will be able to see just what a wonderful place this is to visit once a month!!  Be sure to pick up the February 2012 issue!!
