Displays at home

I have been putting together displays at home before taking them to Merchant Square.  That allows me to tweak and adjust while I have other items at hand.  Here are two displays I am currently putting together.
This great box is covered with black and white toile fabric and has nice compartments inside.  It may have been a gift box at one time, but I decided to turn it into an art/notecards/journal box.  Wouldn't it make a great travel box for an artist??  Carry your colored pencils, tiny paint brushes, note cards, tags with various fibers wrapped around them, little books to alter, and an old ink well.  Gives me an idea!

I've had these little flowers pots for a while now.  Decided to fill them with moss, top with a couple of birds, plant vintage flower picks, as well as some old forks.  The blocks were mine as a child and fit right in with the theme.  I have a large glass cloche to cover them with.  It's a lot of fun to work on the displays before taking them into my booth.

Judy,
I love the box, and your idea of using it for a traweling artist- and the birds are so very spring-like- ans sweet.
