In readiness mode all week. . .

Our community yard sale is this Saturday. I have been in the garage for days sorting, cleaning out, setting aside donations, and piling up stuff for the yard sale.

A glimpse at the stuff in the third garage bay. Barely room to walk through, but things are priced and ready to move out the garage door on Saturday morning.I have sorted through items that were in my booth at Merchant Square. Found lots of things that I am tired of trying to sell. They are going for bargain prices on Saturday.Frames, pictures, shelving, laundry basket, pillows.I even went through this storage cupboard. Took out tons of my old hand painted items that now look very cheesy to me. They went to the thrift store. Now I have room for Christmas decorations, the flour bin for my Hoosier cabinet, some of my painted items, dolls and doll furniture for my granddaughter (she's not old enough for it yet and her little brother would destroy it because he's too young to understand), and my DDH's box of tax records dating back to the 1980 's! Think it is time to get rid of those. Next time the shredder people come to Sun Lakes I am taking that box over there.

So you can see that I haven't spent much time in my studio space. Instead I have been in the garage getting ready for this yard sale.
