Ever since the May/June issue of Somerset Studio arrived, I have been putting together this collage. Lynne Perrella's icon creation on p. 35 was the inspiration for this first collage. This was such fun to put together. It took several weeks because of the trip out of town earlier in May. But it is finally finished. I call her "Madre Tierra" or Earth Mother. I loved using natural elements as well as things from my stash for this collage. Just fun!
The second collage is for my friend, Kim, at Mystic Paper. She LOVES Annie Oakley!! And I told her I would create a collage and teach the class at Mystic Paper. Another friend, Joy, so wants to do something with a western theme, that I thought of her, too, when creating this one. This one is for Kim and Joy. Yeehaw!!

Judy, your 'Madre Tierra' is absolutely breathtaking! Another fabulous creation 'by Judy'. I can't wait to see it 'up close and personal'.
Beautiful as always Judy. I love the image on the second collage and 'Madre Tierra' is so serene. Love it all!
Both of these collages are just great - your blog is looking very pretty in pink!
