Springtime wall hangings class pictures

Four wonderful ladies gathered at Mystic Paper yesterday to make the springtime wall hangings. They had a blast! And so did I!! After gluing the background paper to the chipboard they set out to select the images for each piece and all the trimmings. Once a pleasing arrangement was made, all was sewn down and what couldn't be sewn was then glued down. Everyone was very happy with their final pieces. Some lucky people will be receiving their final pieces as gifts! Mother's Day is coming and some of their mother's are getting a special handmade wall hanging. Here is everyone hard a work preparing their wall hangings. They hadn't even dipped into the pile of goodies at the back of the table -- lace, fabric, ribbon, buttons, vintage jewelry! The table was still pretty neat at this point! LOL!!
They cut, they sewed!
Here is Marsha with her favorite one.
Dana loved this piece with the eggs and twigs.
Tanya had two favorites. She brought a bag of her own embellishments and added those to her pieces.

A special THANK YOU "shout out" to Carol (who didn't want to be photographed), Marsha, Dana and Tanya!! You all made this such a special class!

Hi Judy, it was such a pleasure meeting you and we definitely had a blast yesterday. You are a terrific teacher, and I look forward to more classes with you. Did you know that I sewed my bird on upside down on the one with black rick rack? Too funny! I wonder how many people noticed when I was proudly showing them off? Have a wonderful trip and thanks for adding my blog to yours. Tanya
