It's raining. . . and raining. . .and raining!

Since Friday the desert southwest has had one rain storm after another roll in through Arizona. The Rim Country is getting a nice coating of snow -- up to 18 inches. The Grand Canyon is getting snow -- the North Rim is closed. The two main ski resorts are going to open for skiing! This is great for our State of Arizona! We so need this rain and snow in the high country.
Another great class with Mike Putman! This is the Paris beeswax collage that I completed in his class last night. Mike is a great teacher and if you would like to try beeswax collage, I highly recommend you take a class from Mike at Mystic Paper. This collage actually has a gold sheen to it. The gold was brushed on and rubbed in after the collage was completed. Gives it a great look -- the camera didn't pick it up.

Here are two of the cards I made today in the monthly Stampin' Up class taught here in Sun Lakes by Shirley Fanning. The flower card is very dimensional and I just loved it! Quick and easy to do! The little snowman is just too cute! But he was tricky to put together!

I am not going to wish the rain away. It is such a nice change of pace and I love to curl up on the couch with tea and a good magazine or book and just read. Such comfort!!
