This is Tim Holtz's design for a class taught at Recollections. I took this class yesterday. I actually made this piece for my grandson Ryan's first birthday. He turned one on June 1. He is just a real cutie and all boy! This picture was taken at his birthday party the week before.
I really liked working on the large canvas with alcohol inks. I had never done that. Also like applying the layer of melted wax over the canvas after it was finished. It gave it a nice patina.
