Etsy Cottage Style Color Party for June

Well, Etsy Cottage Color Party chose WHITE for this month's color party.  Think my last blog fit in with that and hope you will visit that blog post as well.  So, here are my pics of WHITE for the June color party:
I found these pretty ladies at an estate sale recently.  Mostly dressed in white and very pretty.  These pretty ladies are half dolls and recently decorated.  They are not old, but they are lovely!
An embellished off white bustier.  I used pretty lace trim and a vintage rhinestone necklace to decorate this for sale.

Another bustier that I embellished over a very pretty slip.  The lace on the top of the slip just peeks out of the top of the bustier.
I love this pretty white envelope I made on a whim from vintage flocked wallpaper.

This is a display piece to go into my antique booth at Merchant Square very soon.  A ceramic white hand and an embellished glove.

My DDHubby made this shelf for me many years ago.  It is in my bathroom.  The pictures are family pictures and the white vanity/toilet pieces are from a complete set I have that belonged to my grandparents.
In my bedroom I have this wonderful dress form that has on three white skirts, a white lace top and lots of necklaces.
Beside my bed is an antique washstand that belonged to my grandparents.  My grandmother is the lady in the vintage racetrack frame.  It belonged to her.  The little white dress form has lots of pretty rhinestone pins and single earrings on it.

Last, but not least are these white baby clothes and a doll dress in my antique booth.  I love white baby clothes!

Thanks for visiting today!  Be sure to check out the other blogs that are participating in the Etsy Cottage Style Color Party this month.

New items in my booth

The clothing you see here is not vintage, but upcycled!  I have found several pretty tops as well as beautiful whole slips that can be worn as slip dresses over tanks or camisoles.  I think this is a more sophisticated romantic prairie look.  Just pretty!
This is four pieces, all different sizes and all priced separately.  The white outfit consists of a full slip in white with pretty lace trim on top, a cool white cotton sleeveless top, a pretty crinkled white top that ties on the side, and a lovely long white linen skirt.  Sort of romantic prairie upscaled!

Here you can see the top of the slip, the sleeveless blouse and the crinkled ruffled blouse.

The white linen skirt has nice simple detail at the bottom.

This pink crinkle blouse is so pretty!  It is too small for me -- drat!  Under it is a lovely full slip in pale pink.

I will be adding pretty whole slips as well as bustiers (black, white and colors) as they get finished.  I am sewing embellishments (ribbon, lace, vintage buttons, rhinestones) onto the bustiers.  Bustiers look great over t-shirts, paired with jeans with ruffled tops.  Probably too hot for here in the Phoenix area right now, but great for our mild winters!

Rearranging things in the house

LOVE IT!!  My friend, Joy, came over today to help me redo the shelves in my great room and then to put up the big three cowgirls picture in the back of my kitchen.
The cowgirls now sit on top of my Hoosier cabinet.  Am going to clean up the shelves and get this area in less cluttered order.  It's a mess of my art stuff!  Ick!

Then we moved onto my bedroom.  I bought the shabby coat rack with the intention of putting it on the wall in my bedroom and hanging up vintage clothing.  Here it is!
I am so happy with this!  A new look for the bedroom!
I've been buying vintage whole slips, petticoats and vintage blouses as I find them.
The pretty hat came out of my bathroom.  It is very old and all the netting and the flower are hand stitched to the hat.  Love the beige square dance petticoat!
There is an old prairie skirt (actually an old petticoat) behind the pink slip.  The camisold top is in front of another vintage slip.
This darling white ruffled evening bag with pink lining contains an old dance card with tiny pencil (it came with the bag tucked inside).  It's dated Friday, May 24, 1940.  It's older than me!!

I love all the changes!  Thanks bunches, Joy!!!
