Some new items added to my booth.

Spent several hours today working in my booth to add new items and redo some displays.  Here are some of the things I have added today.

I found this darling hen with chicks last week along with the small two-drawer chest she sits on.  The two black boxes on the left are really nice cigar boxes.  Great to add your own artwork to the lids and inside.

Here's the little angel I shared with you last week along with a nice storage trunk I found.

I was so tempted to keep the Paris subway banner, but I don't really have any place here at home to put it.  But it is nice!

Here are two gorgeous cigar boxes.  The one on top unlatches from the side and two pieces of the lid open up.  Great graphics!  Nice storage box!  The one underneath still has the cigar trays inside.  They would make it easy to store necklaces.  Check out the pictures of the inside of these boxes on my Judy B's Shabby Chic Facebook page here.  Click on the first picture then continue clicking on the pics to see all of the photos I added today.

This is a wonderful blue gray 6-drawer metal cabinet.  Great for storage or plants!

This is one of the better vintage children's watercolor sets I have seen.  It was made in England and has great graphics.  No dents but some scuffing on the lid.  Check the inside!

Most of these colors have not been used!!  The original brush, however, has no bristles.  You would have to buy a new watercolor brush.  But what summer fun!!  Underneath this paintbox in the aqua tote is a small book on painting with watercolors, a bundle of three small paintbrushes perfect for watercolors, and two packages of watercolor paper. The watercolor paper is substantial enough to be painted on one side and addressed and stamped like a postcard on the other.  Share the summer fun with family or friends!!!

Getting ready for spring!

Was up at Merchant Square this morning to redo the center display for my booth.  Time to get into spring!  Plus I redid several other displays as well.

I wanted to set a table to look like a garden tea party was going to happen any minute.  Note the old "letter" box in the front.  It is iron and weighs a lot!  Unfortunately, it is just a display piece because it didn't come with a key.

I love this summer dress over that antique lace blouse.  Lots of pearls and a cute hat Easter hat!

Here's the table top.  I have bound up a stack of Rod McKuen's poetry books.  Do you remember him from the 60's??  He was a big deal when I was in college -- mid to late 60's!  Coffee house poetry!  The little "carriage" clock works, love the little cherub with the tambourine.

A better look at the letter box.  The flap is brass.  The image on the front is horse and rider on a hunt.  He's blowing his trumpet.

I am still surprised that this great dresser is still here!  I have lowered the price.  Hopefully it will sell soon.  I also have four large white frames in my booth (you can see two of them here) plus two very large vintage frames to either paint yourself or use as is. 

Here's the rustic corner.  Lots of wood items, buckaroo boots, antlers, and KEYS!!!  I have keys for those necklaces I see being made by artists!  The corners of the large frames mentioned above can be seen in the upper left hand corner of this pic.  THE BLUE METAL BOX SOLD TODAY.

Got lots of old hand mirrors, vintage pillow cases (great condition, no stains or spots or holes), wood nesting trays and a great hall table.  THE THREE TRAYS ON THE RIGHT SOLD TODAY!

I love this box! It has so many uses!  My one concession to orange is this potted plant.  Otherwise, orange is not my color of choice.  Won't even make the list.

Love that lamp!  It is vintage and so pretty!

I love glass jars on silver trays!

Christmas favorites!

I love the glitter deer!  A little embellishment and they turn into something wonderful, don't you agree??

I recently redid my booth at Merchant Square.  I had two of the glitter deer in the display.  One under the cloche and one outside on the mirror.  Someone had removed them already this morning.  They aren't sold yet, and may return to my booth this afternoon.

Also love the white feather trees!  Added a part of an ornament to the tops to give them a finished look.  Love the silver balls in the big glass jar.

I added lots of clear glass containers of different sizes and shapes.  They make great display pieces, candy holders, ornament holders, etc. for a Christmas display! 

Also cloches to cover tiny Christmas trees.  Have been collecting silver trays all summer and they are in my booth, too!  The pink ornaments look special under the cover of a cake stand.  More pictures of my booth are on my Facebook page, Judy B's Shabby Chic.  Check it out!
