Comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb. Hmm! Not here in the Sonoran Desert! The weather is fabulous -- warm and sunny!
This is my great, great grandfather John Charles Ryan. He was born on January 18, 1833, in Emily, County Tipperary, Ireland. This picture was taken in 1925 when he was 92 years of age. I love this picture! It is my Irish heritage! I love St. Patrick's Day! I claim real Irish roots!
My grandfather Ryan came to America at the age of 2. He had two brothers and three sisters. The family settled in West Union, Iowa. They later moved Lincoln, Kansas. My father, Robert Ryan, was born in Lincoln, Kansas.

Yesterday I made the trip to Mystic Paper to peruse new books and check out the new ribbons that had come in.
Check out these gorgeous ribbons!!These are a few of their new ribbons and I think they are just wonderful! The silk ribbons are light as a feather! Yummy colors!
I bought two new books from Mystic Paper. Altered! Art Projects and Creating with Fabric both of which can be viewed on Mystic Paper's blog. Go in and check them out!! Great reading and eye candy!
