Etsy Cottage Style Vintage Alphabet Party

For November the Etsy Cottage Style Vintage Alphabet Party letters are W and X.  Well, I found a few W's to share but I am not lovin' the X!  Don't have a thing!  Sorry!  But I did find three W's.  And here they are:
This is a really cute vintage White Wicker child's purse.  I love the little pink flowers and bow attached to the top. Found this yesterday at an estate sale.
Next is this vintage White Wedding cake topper.  Really sweet and so pretty!  Found in a thrift store and cleaned up so that I can put it in my booth at Merchant Square.
Last is my vintage White porcelain pitcher.  I have two of these simple but elegant pitchers.  Love them.

Sorry I have taken so long since my last blog, but my life is super busy right now.  Big sale this weekend at Merchant Square and I have spent most of the week preparing for that.  More in the near future!

Shopping with Gail yesterday

Last week Gail and I made plans to have a "girls day out" for yesterday, Saturday. We were headed to N. Cave Creek Road to check out Kim Rawlins new shop, Not Too Shabby. As it turns out, Gail knew exactly where it was. It was part of a small strip mall just south of Cactus that has several antique, collectibles, consignment shops all together. Plus a thrift store just half a block away. I found this great heart shaped pillow with tiny pink roses, a basket purse covered with white flowers, the purple fringed shawl, and that great hat box!
Also found was this great silver sugar bowl and footed silver tray. Love this stuff because it is so shabby chic.
Here you can see the purple shawl much better plus the blue velvet clutch purse with rhinestones, the lacy clutch with matching gloves, a bunny trinket box, two old books (one of music and the other a worn out French text story book), and the bracelet.
Here is a close up of that cute little bracelet! Love the tiny charms on it of pure girlie things.

Also found a lovely mint green lady's vanity with matching bench which is still in the back of my car; a lovely sheer ivory 1950's nightgown, and a pretty basket to hold items. All of these things will show up in my booth at Merchant Square this coming week. The two books are in shabby shape and will be used for collage elements in the future.

Gail and I had a ball yesterday! We also went to Chez Antiques where Kim of Sweet Sage Vintage has her shop. Love your area, Kim! So very pretty. Visit her blog and Flickr site to see pictures of her shop.

After all that we headed back to the East Valley to have dinner at Charleston's -- a yummy Walt's Chicken Salad with Champagne Vinegarette Dressing and a glass of wine! Perfect end to a really perfect day! Gail and I are going to do this again real soon -- like next month!!
