Without a doubt Sharon has the most wonderful things tucked around in her workshop/studio. I took advantage of a few pieces of fabric and some vintage flower corsages.

The piece of fabric above is wonderful! The division you see in the photo is right side of the fabric vs. the wrong side of the fabric. Frankly, I can't tell you which is which. Either side is wonderful! And it is probably an upholstery fabric, soft as can be and I am sure has chinelle in it. The threads off the fabric after it is cut or torn are wonderful!

This piece of fabric is not very big. Just a remnant. But look at the lovely colors and texture!

There was also a piece of this black and tan ticking fabric. It doesn't even need coffee dyeing. It is perfect, as is.

Sharon tells me that these two pieces of black fabric are very old. These are the only pieces I was able to get. It is velvety in the deepest black areas and appears "shaved" in the light areas. Wonderful stuff! Pieces of an old garment.

Next onto these wonderful vintage corsages, lace pieces and tatting. A lot of these are the vintage velvet flowers. But I loved the large, old, soft pink rose. The tatted piece is not very long, but I already have a project in progress that will use some of it.
Thank you, Sharon!! I love ALL my goodies!!

Lovely stuff. I can can imagine the softness of the fabrics. Can't wait to see where they turn up.
