Today my dear friend, Hedy, passed into the hands of the angels. I know they are having a good time today. I am sure they asked Hedy "How are you?" and I know her immediate reply was an enthusiastic "Fantastic!" She was always "fantastic" no matter what!
I shall miss you Hedy! I will pour a glass of wine soon and toast our friendship. I shall always remember your advice and friendship over the last 7 years. If you come upon David and my sister, Jan, please tell them I love them and miss them, too. But have a good laugh with them as well.
Here's to lettuce wraps at P.F. Chang's, shopping forays into Scottsdale and Cave Creek, digging through the thrift shops, and drinks and snacks on the patio. Here's to you, Hedy, my dear friend!
