I enjoyed every minute spent with my grandbabies. I read a lot of stories, watched several movies, painted, dug in the flower bed, they rode their trikes while I watched, went to the library together, had a picnic at the Leesburg airport (small aircraft only), and just had a great time. This is Kara. She thoroughly enjoyed the watercolor painting book Grandma Judy brought for her to paint in. I have a great movie of this! Here is little Ryan starting to color a picture for Grandma. Actually he calls me "Amma EeeDee" because he can't say Grandma Judy. Too cute! While outside one day we found the remains of a bird egg -- a robin, I think. It was very fragile and didn't survive for very long after this picture was taken. A two-year-old boy can pretty well wreck things in a flash!
We also found an earthworm while digging in the garden. Grandma picked it up out of the dirt and showed it to Kara and Ryan. Then Kara wanted to hold it. It tickled her hand as it wiggled about to get back to the ground. We eventually placed it back in the garden and covered it with loose dirt. I'll bet that worm was really glad to get back to earth!

I am going back at the end of May for Ryan's second birthday. Can't wait!

Hi Judy, what darling grandchildren. Isn't being a Grandma the best? We're expecting #4 anytime. Glad you made it back safe and sound.
They are adorable, glad you had a good time!
