These awesome clouds appeared this evening. I could see them earlier this afternoon coming up from the south -- Tucson area. They are really piling up fast. I have checked the National Weather Service website and the maps show the activity, but the forecast does not include thunderstorms. Hmm! Have you ever known a weatherman to get it right even if the evidence is right there? My husband (rest his soul) was a weather forecaster for the Air Force for years. But he would not allow me to tell anyone that. Wonder why? LOL!!
The sun is setting. The color is stunning! How beautiful!! I am so glad I was able to see this and capture it.
